YOGA

WHAT IS YOGA?

Yoga is a word from the Indian Sanskrit and means "unification, oneness and harmony".

It offers meditative techniques that focus on mental concentration and psysical exercises that improve our strengh and flexibility.

  • The holistic approach is best illustrated by the four main components of yoga:

  •  Physical exercises (asanas)

  •  Breathing exercises (Pranayama)

  •  Concentration and collection (meditation)

  •  Relaxation and regeneration

       WHY YOGA?

  •  Yoga strengthens the muscles and the spine

  •  Yoga has a positive effect on fascias, which surrounds all muscles and organs

  •  Yoga collects the mind and helps to strengthen concentration

  •  Yoga relaxes, gives pleasure and increases the joy of life

Those who regularly practice yogic exercises can change the level of GABA in the brain. This increases by up to 30%.  This is the solution to relieve anxiety and stress. The Y-amino acid is considered to be one of the most important neurotransmitters and it has a direct effect on stress and anxiety.

Gamma amino acid is the most important inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain. Its task is to calm the neurons (brain cells) and thereby protect our brain from stimulus overload. The amino acid is formed in the brain and is active in almost all areas.

       FOR WHOM IS YOGA SUITABLE?

Yoga is suitable for everyone. Regardless of age, weight or mobility, everyone can practice yoga and benefit from it, because yoga is not about creating something or competing with others, but about doing something good for yourself with joy and patience to slowly expand your own limits.

YOU alone know what is good for YOU. YOU determine the intensity of your yoga practice.
