PRANAYAMA / WIM HOF

BREATHE AND YOU LIVE

Pranayama" the teaching of the control of the breath.

Prana means LIFE ENERGY and Ayama means CONTROL.

Those who practice pranayama regularly relax and train the entire respiratory system - and thus regain a generally   deeper, more relaxed breathing in everyday life. This in turn has an effect on the nervous system and leads to a more relaxed inner attitude.

In addition, breathing exercises can expand lung capacity when they work with techniques such as holding one's breath, breathing deeply into the chest, and expanding the chest cavity. Not only top athletes know how crucial a good lung capacity is to performance and fitness.

Those who exhale deeply also detoxify through breathing.

"Pranayama aids digestion, increases vitality and vigor, and improves cognition and memory. It frees the mind from the body, sharpens the intellect, and enlightens the self."

WIM HOF

WIM HOF breathing trains our body to cope better with stress. Wim Hof breathing is based on the principle of hyperventilation. This means that your rapid and deep breaths cause more oxygen to accumulate in the blood. The proportion of carbon dioxide decreases. Breathing influences the autonomic nervous system, which is responsible for the unconscious control of vital bodily processes. Specifically, it activates the sympathetic nervous system, which puts you in a state of readiness to perform.

It is so important to reintegrate correct breathing into your life.
